Free Reading Test ( is provided by Ace Reader (educational software which is produced by StepWare®).  This site contains with some exercises to examine your reading skills; reading speed and comprehension.
  There are thirteen level in this site which are categorized into three level; child, adult, and advanced. Level one to four is child level, level five to nine is adult level and level ten to thirteen is advanced level.  Each level has some categories which contain with text and test. 

This site will count your speed in reading the text, after that you will get some questions that you should answer and in the end of test they will show you the result or score.

Here some step to use this site:

1. Click on “Take Reading Test” button.
2. Choose your level and then choose the    category.
3. Click “start/stop” to begin you reading and click “start/stop” immediately if you finish reading the text.
4. After answering all of the questions, click “show the result” button, than you will know your score.

This is an interesting online library because there are many kinds of books are available in here. There are five menu; Book Online, News, Features, Archives and Indexes, and The Inside story. Each menu divides in some categories.

“Book Online” has six categories; Search our Listings, New Listing, Author, Titles, Subject, and Serials. Those categories are for make learners find the books easily because learners find can the book by the author, titles or serials.

“News” has three categories; Find more free books at your library, Blog (Everybody's Libraries), and Latest Book Listings.  The content of the news is about this website.

“Archives and indexes” has some major sources and indexes in all language which is general and specialized. Some of the categories are non-English languages, children’s literature, drama, historical, music, dance, poetry, politics, religion and many others.

In reading, the users can choose level base on their skill there are Elementary until Advanced. Basically, both test and text in every Intermediate level have the same form, but mostly text and test in higher level will be more difficult.

The American Reader is kind of website which provides a monthly print and digital literary journal. There are four topics in this site; fiction and poetry which is new and updating, criticism that is interesting topic, in conversation (we can learn about life from other people), and day in letter that contains with letters from previous people such as Dylan Thomas (1934). Those are inspiring literary and critical conversation among a new generation of readers. You can read all of the topics by online. If you want to know more about the site, at the end of the site there are link “about us and contact”. You can also find them on facebook to get updating posting and you might give your email address to stay in touch with them.

This site also provides a bookcase, you can read the summary of the book but if you want to read the whole book you might buy it. This site only gives you the link for purchasing.
